  • The environment is convenient. It's about 10-15 minutes' drive from Lujiazui and close to Pudong Kerry Center (Huamu Road). It's 10 minutes' drive yesterday; The hotel facilities are slightly old, and the bathroom in the room has some peculiar smell; The service was pretty good. Basically everything was done on request. It was also very convenient to iron anything. They could be sent back to the room the next day. Overall, the cost performance was pretty good. Hotel parking charges, even for hotel guests, which is different from the practice of general hotels and is not very convenient for guests.Business Superior Room

Travelogue

  • I have chosen the right hotel for my business trip in Lujiazui. I have a perfect balance between efficient office and relaxed river view

This time, I came to Shanghai to connect with the Lujiazui business district project. After comparing multiple options, I finally decided on Wassim R Hotel Shanghai. Originally, I only wanted it to be close to the office cluster. However, after staying for three days, I completely broke my stereotype of hotels in the core area of Lujiazui being "expensive and crowded" - it can not only maximize the efficiency of business trips, but also quickly recover by the surrounding river scenery, without the dilemma of "rushing to work" and "resting".
From Hongqiao Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 directly for 40 minutes, and walk 5 minutes from the station to the hotel. There is no need to detour or get stuck in traffic throughout the journey. As soon as the car was parked, security personnel stepped forward to guide the exclusive parking space. With such ample parking space in the core area of Lujiazui, there is no need to wander around for half an hour to find a vacant spot like in the surrounding area. When checking in, the front desk learned that I was going to several nearby office buildings to meet with clients. They immediately handed me a labeled commuting note: not only did they circle the internal walkway to avoid traffic during the morning rush hour, which took 10 minutes less than walking around the main road, but they also thoughtfully noted the temporary printing locations along the way. Even the storage room for project exhibition boards had been reserved in advance.
The administrative room I booked is on a high floor, with a 42 square meter space that doesn't feel cramped at all. The desktop in the independent office area by the window is large enough to simultaneously display project drawings, research notes, and two work computers. It is equipped with gigabit Ethernet cables, full specification charging ports, and HDMI projection cables. The brightness of the flicker free eye protection light can be freely adjusted, and the online review meeting can be held continuously for 3 hours without any discomfort or strain on the eyes. The sound insulation of the room exceeded expectations, even with the traffic coming and going in the financial district downstairs, the low noise of the air conditioning is all that remains after closing the door, and late night rush plans will not be disturbed at all. I casually mentioned that I would wear formal attire to meet the client the next day. Two hours later, the room service returned the ironed and smoothed suit to my room, even the subtle creases in the corners of the garment were cleaned up.
The hotel's facilities are perfectly adapted to all business travel scenarios. The equipment in the multifunctional conference hall on the second floor has been debugged smoothly. The small negotiation room I temporarily borrowed is quiet and private. The projection, whiteboard, and customized mineral water have been arranged in advance, and there were no mistakes during the two-hour detailed conversation with the partner. The service of the executive lounge is on call. You don't have to rush to the restaurant downstairs in the morning rush hour. You can order a small Wonton in the lounge and synchronize the docking plan of the day while eating; After finishing work in the evening, I returned to the hotel just in time for a happy hour. A few hot dishes were paired with exquisite snacks, and after a simple meal, I could go back to my room to organize research materials without having to take a detour to find dinner. I had to squeeze an extra hour of work time every day.
The most surprising thing is the moment of returning blood after finishing work. You don't have to run far, you can walk for 10 minutes to the Binjiang Trail, blowing the evening breeze of Huangpu River and looking at the lights of the Bund on the other side. The tension of the day is instantly dissipated. Standing in front of the french window on the high floor of the hotel, Lujiazui has a panoramic view of the skyline, and even the idea of re listing is clear.
My deepest feeling after staying in the core area of Lujiazui during this business trip to Shanghai is that I am so lucky to find a hotel that balances efficiency and comfort. It can not only arrange all the details related to work properly, but also leave enough breathing space for you. Next time I come to stay in Lujiazui, I will definitely lock this place up as soon as possible.Show more

  • Staying at this hotel in the core area of Lujiazui, I have grasped the prosperity and fireworks of Shanghai in my hands

Visit Lujiazui in Shanghai to see the night view of the Bund, and finally choose Wassim R Hotel Shanghai after comparing a circle. Originally, it was only intended to be close to the core scenic spot. Unexpectedly, staying for three days directly unlocked the most comfortable travel rhythm in Shanghai - without having to squeeze thousands of online celebrity hotels in Lujiazui, you can touch the light and shadow of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower by lifting your feet, and turn around to get into the fireworks in the old alley, with the lowest sense of travel.
You can walk 5 minutes from the subway line 4 to the hotel. When you look up, you can see the spire of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower emerging from the buildings. The gatekeeper smiled and took the suitcase from my hand, leading me all the way to the lobby. He even reminded me that taking the small path by the hotel's side door at night would take 10 minutes to reach the Binjiang Trail, avoiding the crowds on the main road and capturing the deserted night view of the Bund. When checking in, the front desk heard that I was here to check in at Shanghai's scenic spots. They took the initiative to arrange a high floor scenic room for me and handed me a hand drawn local route map, circling the local restaurants that can be reached within a 10 minute walk, fearing that I might come across expensive and non authentic internet famous restaurants in the scenic area.
The moment I pushed open the door, I was relieved of the exhaustion of rushing. The 40 square meter space was spacious and transparent, with a modern and simple trendy design paired with warm ambient lights, without the cramped feeling commonly seen in hotels in the core area of Lujiazui. The floor to ceiling glass window is facing the city skyline of Lujiazui. The outline of Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai center is spread out in front of us. In the evening, the lights light up again and again, and the prosperity of the whole city is caught in the eye. The bedding is soft and has just the right level of support. As someone like me who took the high-speed train for three hours the day before, I quickly regained my strength after lying down for less than ten minutes. I didn't even come to the door to recognize the bed, which is easy to make mistakes on a regular basis.
The most amazing thing is its location. You can walk 15 minutes to the foot of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, without going out two hours in advance to squeeze the subway. If you want to stroll around the Bund, you can walk along the Binjiang Trail for 20 minutes. Along the way, you can also see cruise ships coming and going on the Huangpu River, swaying slowly in the river breeze, which is much more comfortable than taking a taxi stuck on the road. The surrounding pyrotechnic gas is even more hidden. You can walk down the stairs for 8 minutes to get into the old alley nearby. The raw frying pan shop, authentic local noodle shop, and Cong you bing stall that still smells good at night are all within walking range. I came back after watching the night view of the Bund. At midnight, I could still find a small hot Wonton in the alley. At 15 yuan, a bowl of fresh soup was drunk.
The details of the hotel are also particularly thoughtful. The 24-hour self-service laundry room has a drying function. After browsing for a day, clothes that have been stained with dust can be washed and dried before being worn directly. The shared office area in the public area can be charged at any time, so you don't have to squeeze on the small table in the room to organize the photos of the day. The paid parking space provided by the hotel is particularly rare in the core area of Lujiazui, so if you drive here, you don't have to take half an hour to find a parking space.
After staying for three days, the most fortunate thing for me was choosing Wassim R Hotel Shanghai. The most comfortable way to come to Shanghai is to catch the hustle and bustle of Shanghai and the fireworks in the old alleys without having to squeeze through the crowds in Lujiazui. Next time I come to Lujiazui, I will definitely lock it up as soon as possible.Show more
